Fees and Insurance
Transparent rates are shared to support your journey toward emotional wellness. To make counseling more accessible, we offer a range of pricing options based on session length or type (Rates updated June 2026).
At times client's choose to pay out of pocket/ not use their insurance for many reasons. One often shared is that insurance limits session count, session lengths and requires a client diagnosis. Counseling services for private pay are offered in the rage of $60-$160 US dollars.
Service fee for client utilizing insurance vary by provider. Please provide insurance information at consultation time.
Counseling services are traditionally weekly, bi weekly or monthly ranging from 30 minutes to 90 minutes, depending on your therapeutic goals and progress.
Initial Consultation- $0 (Free)
Book a complimentary one time 15-minute call to determine if counseling is the right next step for you or your family.
Initial Intake Session (Intake)- $140
A comprehensive 55-minute session to evaluate your specific needs and develop a tailored treatment plan.
Individual Session- $60 (30 minutes)
Individual Session- $95 (55 minutes)
Individual Session- $160 (90 minutes)
Family Counseling-$120 (55 minutes)
Specialized sessions for family dynamics, attachment issues, and collaborative parenting strategies.
Insurance Use
Client's using insurance have a service fee/payment and session length determined by their insurance provider and benefits depending on length of session. If no insurance is on file or claim is denied, client is responsible for session fee. Electronic payments are accepted. The provider will be available for 15 minutes from the start of session time and any no show/late cancelation fee must be covered by client not the insurance provider.
The provider does not accept all insurances.
A Good Faith Estimate will be provided to client prior to the start of services. At Mind Simplicity, PLLC we are committed working on counseling accessibility, if a financial situation affects accessibility for services speak to the provider.

Other fees:
$50- No Show/Cancellation Fee, paid by client when they are not present for their scheduled appointment within 15 minutes or cancel within less that 24hr period from appointment time. Cancelation of the session a day in advance must be via email or phone. Contact info@mindsimplicitycounseling.com to discuss emergency situations or to cancel appointments in advance.
$20- Charge Back Fee, client payment when charge is noted as non-sufficient funds or card company reverses payment ( In addition to session fee).
$50- Medical Records Requests- Administrative processing fee for client records. Please review our Client Right's page to learn more.
$110/hr - Documentation Fee, for letter request, report writing, form completion on your behalf.
$140/hr- Court Testimony or Appearance Fee, in addition to *retainer fee required.
*Mind Simplicity, PLLC, and their provider do not perform court evaluations nor present voluntarily to court to represent client's, children, or families. If the provider is required by law via court order/subpoena to participate in legal proceedings a 2,500 retainer fee will be charged to cover practice services (court preparation, court consultation, travel time, or other court service). Resources can be provided regarding trained County based court evaluators.
Payment Methods Accepted
Payment is due at the time of service. Debit and Credit Cards must be kept on file for billing purposes. Debit and Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and HSA credit cards) are accepted only. The provider will additionally provide you with a Good Faith Estimate prior to beginning services.
